I read your Guardian piece Why aren't there more roles like Séraphine for British women? I recall seeing Carine Adler's excellent Under the Skin. This is a fine British film that depicts life 'in extremis'.
Hi Peter, thanks for your comment. Basically, I agree with you re Under the Skin. The headline, “Why aren't there more roles like Séraphine for British women?” was not written by me and I don't think it really reflects the content of the article, which was more about French actresses playing roles in which they go nuts.
