Please click on Kim Novak’s face if you’d like to see how I voted in Sight & Sound‘s poll of the Greatest Films of All Time. And see if you can spot the recurring (but not deliberate!) motif in my Top Ten.

HOLY MOTORS & MY TOP TEN MUSICAL ENTR’ACTES IN NON-MUSICAL FILMS
TEN ACTRESSES ON WHOM I HAVE GIRLCRUSHES
EIGHT FILMS CONTAINING DREAM SEQUENCES MORE INTERESTING THAN THE ONES IN INCEPTION
TEN BEST MEN’S STYLE MOVIES
FIVE ROM-COMS THAT DON’T MAKE ME WANT TO THROW UP
A few corkers there. Glad you reined in the theme before What Dreams May Come turned up!
I’ve not seen Synechdoche and I’m not really a Kaufman fan. I know Kaufman fans who found it disappointing. You really like it that much? Huh. If it crosses my path, I’ll give it a go. I’m not sure I could come up with a list of anything. I don’t like lists and they change minute to minute. I’m a weathercock >_<
Good list–some oddities, but aren’t there always:) Glad to see P&P in there. I’m a lifelong Hitchcock fan and find it strange that so few vote for my favourite, “Notorious”–a very modern tale of addiction, sexual blackmail and amorality, with some of the most stunning shots achieved in the 1940’s.

The holy mountain is the best film ever. http://vimeo.com/37625716
Hi Stan, have you seen my interview with Jodorowsky? Not talking about The Holy Mountain, I’m afraid – it was for the release of Santa Sangre. https://multiglom.wordpress.com/2012/09/21/jodorowsky-the-1990-interview/
