At the end of last year there was a call for short stories for inclusion in a volume to be titled Respectable Horror. I wrote one called Dirty Martini, but didn’t finish it in time to meet the deadline. I decided to make an ebook out of it, and because offering just a single story was a bit embarrassing, threw in another couple.

Born Again was first published in Granta in 1993. Sunshine was first published in The Time Out Book of London Short Stories in 1993. #THEPSYCHOMURDERS was first posted on Twitter in 2009. Paris When It Sizzles was first published in Zombie Apocalypse! Fightback (created by Stephen Jones) in 2012, and reposted on this blog last year (that post has since been removed).
